Tracy Anang

Programs Facilitator

Reach Out

Tracy has always felt compelled to make a difference in the lives of people she sees around her. As a Social Work student at the University of Ghana, Tracy relished the opportunity to learn more about this inherent passion, and figure out ways to put it into action.

During her undergraduate studies in social work, she supported FOA's program initiatives as part of her concurrent fieldwork. It was during this time that she grew to love engaging with street residents and the Norviwo residents and she was eager to be part of the family.

"Even on my first day, everyone made me feel like I was part of the family, like we had known ourselves for years. They were so nice and engaging and it was such a pleasant experience for me.”

Now, Tracy serves as a Programs Facilitator with FOA. Her duties involve planning and coordinating our programming activities with street residents for Wellness Wednesday and Sunday Street Outreach.

Tracy is driven, she loves to learn new things and easily gets motivated by whatever she does, pushing and striving till it's done. In her spare time, she loves to sit behind a good movie, filled with lots of action, drama and suspense- an unsurprising pastime considering the work she does.
