Nikki Horne

Educator

Nikki Horne, MEd, specialized in Social Justice Education and Comparative, International and Development Education. Nikki has 14+ years of varied practical experience providing leadership, administrative support, teaching, and counseling to students and families in local and global education contexts.

Nikki founded and directed the Onzole River Project in Ecuador for 10 years, working with local governments, NGOs, and project stakeholders to design and advocate for culturally relevant and equitable education practices and social services. Nikki has served on FOA's Board since 2016 because she believes lasting change is possible through consistent service, sacrifice, and compassion, all values inherent in FOAs mission.
