Andy Kwesi Dumenyo

Department of Resource Allocation & Management

Andy Kwesi Olokoi-Dumens Dumenyo is a passionate Social Development Advocate and a Social Work with Sociology graduate committed to empowering young people and transforming communities through leadership, education, and advocacy. Andy joined FOA to be part of a movement dedicated to ending streetism and restoring dignity to children and youth living in vulnerable conditions.

Before joining FOA, Andy had a strong interest in youth empowerment, law, politics, and social policy, but he did not fully understand the depth of the challenges faced by street-connected children and young people, nor the holistic approaches required to support them effectively. Through his experience at FOA, he has gained a deeper appreciation of how leadership development, advocacy, policy influence, and inclusive engagement can collectively drive lasting social change.

Andy’s compassion also extends to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with autism, down syndrome, and other neurodiverse conditions. He is deeply committed to advancing inclusion, understanding, and opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their background or abilities.

Guided by his interests in law, politics, social policy, and public policy, Andy aspires to influence governance systems that uphold justice, equality, and social inclusion. His vision is to help shape progressive policies that protect vulnerable populations, empower young people, and strengthen community development efforts across Ghana and beyond.

Through his ongoing journey with Future of Africa, Andy continues to grow as a leader, advocate, and bridge-builder—committed to creating a future where every child and young person, including those with intellectual disabilities, is valued, empowered, and equipped to lead meaningful change.
