Eleven young girls and boys join our Skills and Youth Development Program
Since February, five young girls and six boys have joined our Skills and Youth Development pathway, stepping into a safe haven filled with hope.
Anytime we had special programs involving large-scale cooking, Dorcas would always volunteer to cook to help us with the large numbers.
As a young girl growing up, Dorcas was always seeing her mother helping out the disadvantaged individuals around her. This ignited a passion within her to do same with what she has available.
As the Resident Life Coordinator here at the FOA Norviwo Community Centre, Dorcas takes care of the female residents and supports their character development. She also ensures that the entire facility is in top condition and is well-resourced with good food.
Incidentally, prior to joining FOA, Dorcas had just finished a catering and decoration course to add to her experience as a caterer. She really loves cooking! It brings her so much joy whenever people enjoy her dishes.
Dorcas graduated from the St. Catherine Girls Senior High School in the Volta Region.
