Since February, five young girls and six boys have joined our Skills and Youth Development pathway, stepping into a safe haven filled with hope.
Elom is known for his bright smile, enthusiastic energy, and warm hugs. He is an impact-driven young man passionate about social change in the lives of vulnerable children. He has worked with such children through the BBnZ Live Foundation, Tech Era, and Future of Africa. He also mentors youths in his church, serving in the Teens & Children Ministry.
Elom is a man of many talents. He can dance, swim, play sports, act in plays, play the guitar, and is a pretty good gamer as well. He is a fast learner and able to adapt to situations with impressive ease. The versatility doesn't end there though. Elom fits in every department at Norviwo, offering his services to anyone who asks and doing an excellent job in the process.
Here at Norviwo, as the Development Coordinator Elom handles volunteer management, alumni volunteer engagement, leadership program development, workshop designing, implementation and assessment processes, special programs, and events. He ensures we have volunteers to work with, orients them, and makes sure their time spent with us is memorable and transformative, equipping them with the essential leadership skills and experiences to grow their leadership potential, even beyond their time with FOA.
He graduated from Ashesi University with a BSc. in Business Administration and has growing interest in the field of Psychology.
Elom believes in the transformative change FOA promotes "Seeing these kids transform from being ill-mannered, confrontational, and morose amongst others into young African individuals eager and striving to fulfill their potentials is what motivates and fuels my passion and commitment in my work with FOA." He is family-oriented and has embraced FOA as another treasured family.
