Felix Nketiah

Operations Coordinator

Reach Out

In the heart of community development and the pursuit of positive change, Felix Premang Nketiah stands as a beacon of inspiration and transformation. As FOA's Operations Coordinator, Felix brings a wealth of passion, dedication, and a unique background shaped by his journey from a low-income family in Ghana to becoming a staunch advocate for street children's empowerment.

Felix's story is one of resilience and unwavering commitment. Growing up in a family that faced socioeconomic discrimination, Felix became the first among his siblings to attend university. His academic journey was not only marked by excellence – graduating with first-class honors in Political Science and Information Studies – but also fueled by a profound desire to break the cycle of limited opportunities.

Motivated by a personal tragedy – the loss of his father due to the lack of timely healthcare access – Felix turned his grief into a driving force for change. The Young Visionaries Support Agenda (YVSA), founded by Felix, became a testament to his dedication to reducing inequalities and empowering marginalized communities. Now, as the Operations Coordinator at Future of Africa, Felix continues his mission to impact lives positively.

Felix's role as Operations Coordinator is marked by a hands-on approach. His leadership style combines strategic thinking with a genuine connection to the cause. He oversees the maintenance of the facilities at the Norviwo center, engages street residents during street outreach and Wellness Wednesdays, and also manages the digital spaces by taking videos and pictures on social media to tell our story to the world. He always ensures that each initiative aligns with Future of Africa's mission to empower street children with the skills they need for a brighter future.

Felix doesn't just envision change; he actively participates in its creation. His experiences in underprivileged communities has driven his passion to advocate for policies that prioritizes the needs of marginalized people in society.

"I believe my work here at Future of Africa is helping to build a society where everyone has access to equal opportunities and resources irrespective of their socioeconomic background"
